Contactors
Contactors K series, Austrian companies Benedikt Jager are special contactors designed for switching capacitive loads.
They are equipped with auxiliary contacts, which in advance of closing the main contacts connect damping resistors to the circuit, which suppresses the current peaks and thus significantly reduce unwanted transient events occurring when switching capacitor batteries. There is no sunbathing and subsequent welding of the main contactor contacts
